Xi have solved problems on all scales of industrial processes, whether the motivation arises from large forces that occur during plant operating conditions or long term fatigue of continual running.
All projects are considered individually to identify the specific requirements in order to understand and improve the system. Techniques applied include on site measurement to characterise the system, computational modelling to understand the fundamental processes subsequently forming a virtual test bed to investigate solutions.
Previous projects range from the measurement and monitoring of pipework, in line with the requirements set by the Energy Institute to minimise the risk of vibration induced fatigue, through to full measurement and modelling of the building structure enabling a fatigue analysis of the structural beams to be performed and ensuring the safety of the structure, minimising downtime in plant production.
