COMSOL Day UK (Online) 2020
COMSOL Days are 1-day events for anyone considering using the COMSOL Multiphysics® simulation software to understand how it works, and, for existing users to be informed about the latest news.
This year, the attendees of COMSOL Day UK (Online) had the opportunity to experience first-hand and in-depth analysis of the COMSOL Application builder and find out about the latest developments and the features of the software. As superusers, we were invited by COMSOL® to provide our views on the future of simulation, our insights into the industry and explain how Multiphysics simulation can accelerate the design process.
As part of the event, our Managing Director, Dr Mark-Paul Buckingham presented an in-depth case study and explained how COMSOL® played an integral role in the design, development, and market launch of not one but two multi-award-winning headphone systems. In the video below Dr Buckingham explains how Xi assisted Warwick Acoustics in launching and creating a true listening experience. Initially targeting professional and home audio, this journey has now taken Warwick Acoustics into the automotive sector. For those who missed the event, by watching the video you will learn more about electrostatic speakers, structural-acoustic interaction modelling, the impact of a custom made COMSOL App and, not least, two of the best headphones on the planet.
From Crisp Packets to Cars: A COMSOL® Journey to Multiple Awards in the High-Fidelity Acoustic Space – video
We have used COMSOL Multiphysics® since its inception. Since adopting COMSOL®, Xi has continued pushing the boundaries of what is possible through simulation. We are one of only five certified COMSOL consultants in the UK and one of less than eighty worldwide. We work closely with the COMSOL® technical development team and we often test new features and techniques to push the software to its full potential. If you want to know more about how Xi can help you with your project, please get in touch.
