High precision accelerometers help identify any displacement produced in all three space coordinate axes in all sorts of machinery and structures. Geophones are capable to detect the smallest of ground vibration as well as high-quality seismometers. Specialist measurements or analysis may require equipment including laser vibrometers, optical displacement cameras and proximity sensors. All these tools help us to identify the characteristics and roots of all the vibration problems.
